Meet Hadiya, Lead Mental Health Collaborator

Why I Started Hey, You Need Therapy (HYNT)

I started Hey, You Need Therapy because I know how difficult it can be to reach out for support. Too often, people think therapy is only for moments of crisis or when life feels completely overwhelming. I see it differently. Therapy is a way to care for yourself, to be understood, and to have space to explore your story without judgment.

As a neurodivergent psychotherapist, I have learned what it feels like to navigate life in ways that do not always fit the expected patterns. That perspective, combined with years of clinical training, shapes the way I work with clients. HYNT was created to be a space that feels inclusive, collaborative, and human. Therapy here is about real conversations, noticing progress along the way, and finding practical ways to move forward.

Originally from New York City and now living in Georgia, I am licensed to provide therapy in Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida. Being part of a military family has given me a front-row seat to the challenges of constant change and the effort it takes to find balance along the way. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions, helping them navigate these experiences with support, perspective, and practical tools. Above all, I meet clients where they are, offering honesty, warmth, and a touch of humor to make the process of growth feel possible and real.

HYNT is more than a practice. It is a reminder that you are allowed to ask for help, that you are worthy of support, and that you do not have to figure it all out alone.
